• Reviews loans for accuracy and compliance with investor guidelines, Federal regulations and credit policy and recommends approval for Langley.
• Analyzes a broad range of credit and compliance documents related to the mortgage lending process and evaluates loan risk through verification of loan application information.
• Determines and thoroughly documents loan conditions and provides clear communication to processors and loan officers regarding documents needed for mortgage loan files to ensure quick turnaround time.
• Makes loan decisions independently (approves or denies loan application).
• Provides special project support and input into new products or initiatives to department.
• Provides prompt, professional and quality service to originating branches, loan officers and correspondents.

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience in a mortgage lending environment with at least one year of underwriting experience required. One year of experience with Automated Underwriting Systems and working within a virtual environment with documentation and business partners required.

Targeted Salary Range: $57,100 - $72,000 based on qualifications and experience.
