Primary Responsibilities
- Takes leads, follows up with them, and closes sales
- Orchestrates transactions from lead through closing
- Takes loan applications
- Quickly determines if leads are viable loans
- Sends out needs lists to clients
- Collections documents and completes pre-approval
- Supports processing and administrative staff when necessary
- Follows up with referral partners
- Maintains positive client relationships
- Continuously looks for ways to improve processes
- Strives to streamline processes
- Follows up with past leads
- Follows up with clients after closing to generate more leads
Requirements
- Must have a sales mindset with high sense of urgency, competitive drive, willingness to follow-up, and the courage to initiate conversations to ask for the business
- A NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License is required. Applicants who have recently passed the SAFE exam with relevant sales experience will be considered
- Some college education, preferably in business or a related field
- One to three years of mortgage and/or sales experience is required
- Familiarity with Encompass is a plus
