Mortgage Loan Assistant (Columbus, IN)
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Aid the Loan Officer in obtaining documentation from customers
- Act as an interface between the Loan Officer and Operations to obtain required documentation
- Work with other Mortgage systems as needed
- Interface with customers as needed
- Aid the Loan Officer in marketing efforts
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
- At least 1 year experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor OR Mortgage Loan Officer
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Level of Complexity and Scope
- Degree of Independence and Decision-Making Required
- Supervisory Responsibilities
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.
- Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
- Occasionally drives
- Frequently sits, stands and walks
