About the Role

As a Mortgage Funder, you will play a critical role in the mortgage closing process by ensuring loans are funded accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with lending requirements. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in mortgage operations while working closely with mortgage closers and other key partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to Mortgage Closers to help facilitate timely loan funding.
  • Assist in the closing and funding of mortgage loans while minimizing post-closing errors.
  • Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Accurately disburse funds according to lender instructions and closing statements.
  • Resolve documentation discrepancies and request corrections when needed.
  • Perform detailed reviews of closing documents prior to approving the release of funds.
  • Manage a pipeline of loans while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient closing experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of mortgage closing documents and funding processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay

$17.60/hour

Schedule

  • Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
  • After Training: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM CST

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule in Pensacola, FL
  • 3 days onsite per week
