Key Responsibilities
- Receive final docs from escrow and verify all required fields have been completed
- Verify all final closing conditions have been met
- Underwrite all appropriate documentation to sign off and clear closing funds, ensuring the file is balanced
- Run and review the Mavent report to ensure accuracy and issue COCs as necessary
- Coverage with warehouse bank to initiate and authorize the transfer of funds
- Verify that all prior to funding conditions have been satisfied
- Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers and borrowers by providing timely communication, accurate loan status updates, and proactive resolution of funding-related inquiries
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5 + years experience in a similar role
- Experience working within Encompass
- Non-QM Experience
- Knowledge of funding loans in dry, wet and attorney states
