Mortgage Branch Manager II

About the Role

Responsible for the overall profitability by directing sales and business development, ensuring the center achieves its goals and meets operational objectives. This role includes management and leadership duties such as employee development, ongoing coaching, and performance management. The Branch Manager prepares for continued growth by recruiting top talent in the market and assists consumers in obtaining or applying for residential mortgage loans, including taking applications and negotiating terms. This position has two or more full-time direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train top talent in the market.
• Provide motivation and support to achieve maximum production levels.
• Establish and control budget and income goals within company guidelines.
• Ensure goals and performance standards are met and communicated within the team.
• Monitor the quality of loans originated and ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory, and company policies.
• Coach, motivate, train, lead, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Conduct meetings and presentations with referral relationships.
• Personally originate loans by taking customer applications and collecting asset/income information.
• Analyze customer financial information to determine qualification for various loans.
• Act as a mortgage loan advisor, discussing available options and products with customers.
• Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings.
• Define and manage customer expectations of the loan process.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay up-to-date on market conditions.
• Negotiate rates and terms.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, responding to and following up on leads.
• Market, service, and promote the company’s loan products.

Pay

$36,920 to unlimited (performance-based).
