Roxbury Day Care Center seeks part-time morning workers from 7:00-10:00 AM. A candidate with some childcare experience, patience, and compassion for young children is ideal.

What You'll Do

• Ensuring the care, safety, and well-being of all children in the group.
• Implementing simple activities that are developmentally suitable for the age group.
• Assisting with cleaning duties, such as washing tables before and after breakfast and at shift end.
• A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player are necessary.
• Positions are available in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Classrooms.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Ability to act as mediator between children.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Excellent communication and instructional skills

Nice to Have

• A Child Development Associate Certification is a desirable asset.
