Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- One year of working with children is required
- Must have or be able to obtain First-Aid CPR certification (within three months of employment)
- References required
- Physical and TB test required (must be obtained prior to employment)
- Must have NYS Fingerprints completed
- 15 hours of free training required per year
Responsibilities
- Take direct care of children
- Maintain a clean, safe environment
- Follow program protocols and procedures
- Assist with potty training and diapering
- Ability to improvise as needed

- Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
