About This Role

Creative Play Learning Center in Amherst, NY is hiring a Daycare Assistant to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $15.50 – $16.50/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Working closely with the head teacher to ensure the well-being and safety of each child in your care.
• Effective communication with parents and colleagues, including daily updates on children's activities and progress.
• Engage in play, lead activities, drive learning, and build meaningful relationships with the children every day!
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to state regulations.

Requirements

• HS diploma required
• Must demonstrate prior experience in childcare, spanning various age groups.
• A strong team player with the ability to support not only their classroom, but other classes as needed.
• Familiarity with NYS daycare regulations is a plus; we offer comprehensive training.
