Monitoring Services Technician
Job Description
The East Syracuse, NY laboratory is seeking an entry level Monitoring Services Technician to join the Pump/Rental team. The primary responsibilities include receiving and routing packages, ensuring samples and equipment are placed into proper workflow, signing in returned equipment, assembling, maintaining, and calibrating equipment, preparing accessories, performing inventory counts, performing light equipment maintenance, assembling, inspecting, testing, and/or calibrating items needed to fill client orders, performing quality control checks, working with internal departments to fill client orders, shipping client orders, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining required documentation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Diploma and 1-2 years of general work experience (Preferred)
- Proficient English language skills (Required)
- Strong attention to detail (Required)
- Basic reasoning and mathematical skills (Required)
- Basic computer skills (Required)
- Ability to lift/carry/push or pull upwards of 30 lbs, constantly (Required)
Pay & Benefits
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$22.00. This position is eligible for overtime pay. In addition, your compensation package includes:
- Participation in the Company’s benefit programs coincident or following the first of the month in which you are hired.
- Immediate eligibility to participate in the Company’s 401K Retirement Plan.
- Paid vacation.
- Four (4) floating holidays annually.
- Seven (7) company observed holidays paid.
- Sick time accrual.
