Upcoming or recent diagnostic radiology technologist graduates are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- No call or weekend shifts
- Holiday rotation required
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms of patients, including those with technological support (e.g., pacemakers, AICD)
- Document changes in rhythm and report them according to established protocol
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course, anatomy and physiology courses, and/or related courses
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
- Thorough knowledge of arrhythmia recognition
- Good visual acuity and sustained concentration for observing cardiac rhythms on CRTs
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience with telemetry monitoring or related field is preferred
