Technician I

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician I to join our dynamic team. The Technician I will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality and cleanliness of our ice machines, providing top-notch service to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and clean ice machines according to Easy Ice's standard operating procedures
• Conduct routine inspections and execute scheduled maintenance tasks under supervision
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and communicating effectively with customers and coworkers
• Document all actions taken during service visits and ensure proper truck stock and vehicle cleanliness
• Facilitate accurate payment processing and assist in the removal or shutdown of equipment when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational/Technical Training preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance is a plus
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
