Technician I

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician I to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, clean, and maintain ice machines according to Easy Ice’s standard operating procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and execute scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Accurately document all actions taken during service visits.
• Manage truck stock and ensure timely service for customers.
• Facilitate payment processing and assist in the removal of equipment when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Vocational/Technical Training preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
