About the role
Provides cardiac monitoring for patients of assigned department under the direction of the RN and Physician. Performs duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performs EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech duties as directed
- Maintains patient flow by performing duties necessary to support patient care
Requirements
- Successful completion of EKG Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or Certificate
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Basic computer skills
- Basic organizational skills
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Education and/or training related to areas of responsibility
