Monitor Technician, DOU, Full-Time, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

About the role

Provides cardiac monitoring for patients of assigned department under the direction of the RN and Physician. Performs duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech duties as directed
• Maintains patient flow by performing duties necessary to support patient care

Requirements

• Successful completion of EKG Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or Certificate
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Basic computer skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Basic written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Education and/or training related to areas of responsibility

Skills

• Basic EKG interpretation
• Team member abilities
