About the role
Provides clerical and technical support for the nursing staff of 7 Tower, a Medical/Surgical/Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit that provides acute nursing care by performing duties assigned by the Director or designee.
Responsibilities
- Clerical support including:
- Maintaining patient records
- Written and computer transcription
- Ordering and storing of supplies
- Providing excellent customer service and communication
- Technical support including:
- Arrhythmia detection
- Operation of cardiac monitoring equipment
Requirements
- Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Basic Arrhythmia Course
- Registration/Certification/Licensure: Act 33/73 Clearances
- Experience:
- Minimum: None
- Preferred: Recent experience in a related area, OR related educational background. Previous experience working as a unit secretary/monitor tech.
