Monitor Tech/Clerk - Virtual Integrated Care

About the role

The Monitor Tech/Clerk position at Cabell Huntington Hospital is a dual role within the Virtual Integrated Care Department. The primary responsibilities are divided based on the assignment given by the charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• If assigned to the monitor tech role, the primary responsibility is to monitor the central telemetry station and document arrhythmias according to the policy.
• If assigned to the unit clerk role, the primary responsibility is to provide clerical and receptionist duties to the nursing unit.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.

Skills

Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are necessary. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
