About the role

The Department of Management at Monash University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in the field of Employment Relations/Future of Work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active research profile, producing high quality original and impactful research leading to publications in refereed top-tier journals.
• Develop and deliver high-quality teaching to large, culturally diverse cohorts of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Demonstrate research leadership, including supervision of PhD students.
• Contribute actively to the Department’s educational, research, and administrative activities.
• Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across education and service sectors.

Qualifications

• Track record of publication in refereed top-tier journals.
• A proven record of high-quality teaching in a tertiary environment, experience developing curriculum, and the ability to engage and motivate diverse student cohorts.
• For more senior candidates, success in leading research projects, securing external funding, and supervising postgraduate students.

Benefits

• Compensation range: $123,138 - $146,228 pa for Level B, and $150,841 - $173,931 pa for Level C (plus 17% employer superannuation).
• Duration: Continuing appointment.
