What You Will Do
- Responsible for plastic part manufacturing according to specifications to meet quality, cost, and delivery time requirements for the site.
- Provide support on new product launch tooling and process at each milestone through production, contributing manufacturing and engineering inputs for development of new processes, parts, and tooling.
- Lead process design and approval according to Valeo standards and procedures.
- Identify and implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives for existing processes and tooling related to current product lines, focusing on cost, quality, and design.
- Involvement in global coordination to improve and define standards.
- Identify and investigate potential new tooling concepts and processes.
- Lead daily continuous improvement activities on the shop floor and formalize Kaizen cards.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, or relevant experience.
- No less than 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with part/tooling design concepts and/or development.
- Experience processing plastic components on injection molding machines.
- Preferably have automotive manufacturing experience.
