Primary Job Responsibilities
- Pull preventive maintenance on molds and tooling.
- Be able to change out components on ejection plastic molds.
- Able to use polishing stones and part washers.
- Able to drive lift truck.
- Able to use Voltmeter and shop equipment.
- Able to use the overhead crane to move molds and components.
- Able to disassemble and reassemble molds etc.
- Must be able to identify tool damage and make minor repairs with assistance from toolmakers.
- Adherence to all-appropriate safety practices and procedures.
- Works closely with Lead and Senior Techs.
- Supports the established Quality Policy.
- Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.
- Strong math skills.
- Good team worker.

Physical Requirements
- Walking – frequently 4-5 hrs.
- Standing – 7 hrs.
- Climbing – occasionally.
- Squatting/Stooping – occasionally.
- Reaching – occasionally.
- Lifting - up to 25# frequently.
- Lifting – 25# and over with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift).
Safety Requirements
- The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.
- Must wear proper PPE.
