About the role
Maintain and operate molding equipment to produce plastic parts. Perform quality control inspections on molded products.
Responsibilities
- Operate injection molding machines to manufacture plastic components
- Inspect molded parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize production efficiency
- Perform preventative maintenance on molding equipment
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of injection molding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Experience with quality assurance systems
