Mold Setup and Process Optimization Technician (Injection)

About the role

Maintain and optimize injection molding processes to ensure product quality and efficiency. Collaborate with engineers and operators to troubleshoot issues and improve setup procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust injection molding machines according to specifications.
• Monitor process parameters and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
• Identify and document process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to molding processes.
• Document all setups and process changes for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in injection molding or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using common injection molding equipment and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
