Mold Prep

About the role

The Mold Prep position prepares boat molds by cleaning and applying wax for Gel Coating.

Responsibilities

• Cleans molds, applies wax, and removes wax
• Cleans and wipes down molds
• Covers mold with plastic sheeting and secures with masking tape
• Works in a team to push and pull boat molds into the production area
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions

Independent Judgement

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
