Mold Design Engineer

About the role

My client is a global leader in blow molding technologies and the only blow molding machine manufacturer to offer four unique blow molding technologies, blow molds, and associated tooling.

Responsibilities

• Designs molds and performs basic design reviews of molds for blow molding.
• Interact with quality department and purchasing department, ensuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are met.
• Maintains currency with respect to technical skills by attending training classes and special technical courses as needed.
• Provide daily update to Mold Design Engineering Working Lead.
• Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood, drive closure on open requirements, and verify requirements are satisfied.
• Identify risks, document, prioritize, mitigate, and communicate.
• Establish timing plans to execute assigned orders and projects.

Pay

$80,000 - $95,000 per year
