Moderation Solutions Program Manager - USDS
About the role
The USDS Moderation team is a specialized organization within the TikTok USDS Joint Venture. Our mission is to build a safe, trustworthy, and compliant e-commerce ecosystem specifically for the US market. We operate at the critical intersection of advanced AI/LLM technology and stringent data security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Oversee model strategy ops team to enhance moderation efficiency and model accuracy.
- Harness the capabilities of advanced language models (LLM, business model and fusion model) to enhance overall moderation.
- Utilize large models to identify potential risk factors swiftly and accurately.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements in moderation strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive moderation solution that defines the optimal mix of Algo, LLM model and human moderation strategy.
- Prepare and raise requests to the internal Quality Assurance and SOP teams with clear targets, expectations, and performance metrics.
- Optimize moderation strategies through ongoing refinement cycles, adjusting workflows based on changing requirements and performance data.
- Partner with workforce management teams to source cost-efficient vendor sites and ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, operations, or project management.
- 5+ years of hands-on and in-depth experience in e-commerce or online safety and quality analysis.
- Excellent coordination skills and communication skills across multiple cross-functional teams to build plans and projects.
- Effective communication skills to handle communications to teams, management and cross functional stakeholders at all levels, and a proven track record of getting things done/shipping projects.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where self-motivated, autonomy and self-decision making is needed (to an extent) and juggle between multi projects/tasks.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $111467 - $206172 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
