Model Beverage Server - PT

About the role

Provide personalized beverage service to casino guests, act as an ambassador of goodwill, and promote casino events while maintaining a fast-paced, professional environment.

• Provide fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carry full trays on every round
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
• Take drink orders, communicate with bartender, assist in the preparation of drinks, and present drinks to guests
• Provide service of complimentary beverages including coffee and water
• Handle money according to procedure
• Work collaboratively with beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation
• Serve as an ambassador of goodwill at customer and public relations functions; appear in publicity photos
• Promote casino events and programs
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read, write legibly, understand, and speak English
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to count money and change correctly
• Know or be able to learn tray service and cocktail ingredients
• Available to work required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues
• Able to lift and carry 20 lbs. (full cocktail tray) for extended periods of time
• Able to tolerate noise and bright lights
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded or noisy environments
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas such as confined spaces
• May be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke
