Beverage Server PT

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and courteous service to all guests, including taking orders, suggestive selling, serving beverages, and clearing tables.
• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
• Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Adheres to food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws.
• Completes all required set‑up duties on time.
• Keeps station clean at all times.
• Promotes positive customer relations.
• Responsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guests’ checks.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.
• Attends seminars when needed (non‑essential function).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and Gaming Badge required when working.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills: positive, friendly and outgoing attitude, common courtesy towards others, ability to deal successfully with stressful situations.
• Able to lift up to ten (10) pounds frequently throughout shift.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Able to withstand noisy and smoke‑filled environments.
• Able to sit 20% of shift and walk 80% of shift.
