Supports the systems, data, and logistics behind Indivisible's distributed grassroots mobilization work, across both Indivisible-led and coalition campaigns. This includes event operations, data infrastructure, and sustained mobilization tools that keep grassroots members engaged between major moments. Reporting to the Associate Director of Mobilization Operations, this role collaborates closely with the broader Mobilization team and coalition partners to ensure smooth operations for host support, event logistics, tooling, and reporting. Limited travel may be required to support organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Event & Host Operations (25%)
    • Maintain event listings and shift signups in Mobilize.
    • Troubleshoot host and volunteer issues and maintain communication platforms.
    • Support host onboarding through toolkits, training materials, and day-of logistics guidance.
    • Staff and coordinate coalition staff/volunteers during high-volume mobilization moments and national days of action.
    • Track event performance (capacity, fill rates, turnout) and report insights to the operations team.
  • Tools & Platform Support (35%)
    • Maintain sustained mobilization tools (EveryAction, NGP VAN, Mobilize, Freshdesk, etc.).
    • Document and escalate bugs and gaps to tool owners.
    • Set up infrastructure quickly during rapid-response moments (e.g., new event pages, updated toolkits).
    • Support security monitoring and triage for distributed mobilization moments.
    • Assist with mobilization-related websites and their upkeep.
  • Data & Reporting (20%)
    • Support coalition partners and event hosts on utilizing data from Mobilize and related systems.
    • Share updates on the breadth and depth of mobilization campaigns.
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CRM systems for the mobilization department.
    • Report and track incoming communications to coalition or campaign inbox systems.
    • Support applicants and grantees throughout grant cycles, including reporting.
  • Coalition & Rapid Response Support (20%)
    • Provide day-to-day operational support to coalition partners running joint mobilization campaigns.
    • Triage incoming requests from field/state staff and route to the appropriate resource.
    • Keep shared event, toolkit, and reporting systems current for partners.
    • Resolve support tickets efficiently and professionally for hosts, participants, and the public.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in organizing, campaigns, or mobilization work (electoral, advocacy, or large-scale volunteer programs).
  • Working knowledge of EveryAction and Mobilize; ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data- and logistics-heavy tasks.
  • Able to stay organized and calm amid shifting priorities, particularly during rapid-response periods.
  • Clear written communication skills for host-facing materials and internal reporting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting coalition or multi-organization campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Airtable, Formstack, or similar workflow/form tools.
  • Prior experience in a distributed/remote organizing environment.

Pay

$80,500 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week. This is a short-term assignment anticipated to end on or before January 15, 2027.
