Mobile Phlebotomist Charge

About the role

Our Charges oversee blood collection operations and provide donor care. They manage staff for assigned blood drives or collection centers and perform all donation processes including donor registration, screening, physical examination, and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of blood drive or collection center staff
• Donor registration, screening, physical examination, and phlebotomy
• May drive fleet vehicles, including box trucks
• Varying work schedules including days, evenings, and weekends

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Enjoy working with the public
• Good, stable work history
• Understanding of standard operating procedures
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Able to train away from home for up to two weeks
• Able to work varied schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by our insurance carrier
• DOT Medical Certification

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
