Job Summary
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our ImpactLife team. Our charges oversee blood collection operations and provide donor care, working alongside professionals who share our commitment to integrity and teamwork.
About the Role
Our charges play a crucial role in ensuring smooth blood collection operations and donor care. They are responsible for managing staff, conducting donor registration, screening, physical examinations, and phlebotomy. They may also drive our fleet vehicles when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Oversee blood collection operations and donor care
- Manage staff for assigned blood drives or collection centers
- Conduct donor registration, screening, physical examinations, and phlebotomy
- Drive fleet vehicles when needed
Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Enjoy working with the public
- Good, stable work history
- Understanding of standard operating procedures
- Healthcare experience (a plus)
- Able to train away from home for up to two weeks
- Able to work varied schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence and insurability by our insurance carrier
- REAL ID holder or able to obtain DOT Medical Certification
Qualifications
- Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required
