Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Sr. Social Worker

About the role

Forsyth County's Department of Behavioral Health Services is currently seeking to hire Senior Social Workers in the Mobile Integrated Healthcare division to address the urgent and emergent behavioral health needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Establishing community support for individuals that rely on the 911 system to meet their behavioral health needs.
• Responding to overdose calls.
• Addressing community-based behavioral health crises.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
• Valid North Carolina clinical license (must be fully licensed and capable of practicing independently).
• Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Experience providing social work services to adults and/or children.
• Experience working with a Mobile Integrated Health team or other community-based crisis response model.
• Previous experience working with EMS or another 911 dispatch service.
