Mobile Field Logistics Specialist

About the role
You are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of products as they flow through the territory. Accountability of products missing from sets is crucial to ensure proper billings. You will be responsible for case coverage, inventory management, and analyzing data. This role is an on-site member of the Logistics Team in a territory sales office(s), scheduling, preparing, and ensuring delivery of instruments and implant sets for surgery in the territory. You will also coordinate surgery schedules, prepare, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of instruments and implants sets for surgery. Good working knowledge of company products, operating system, and procedures is critical.

Responsibilities
- Performs work duties accomplishing daily goals, including but not limited to, the picking of Finished Goods, packing of Finished Goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, sourcing cases, and overcommunication to the sales reps.
- Process all required order entry as directed to maintain and manage scheduled surgery cases on a daily basis.
- Perform all required reporting to measure accuracy, utilization, and validations while coordinating Mobile Logistics and shipment schedules daily to ensure the most cost-effective delivery methods are being utilized.
- Multi-task and work under pressure, handling high stress during the day while juggling multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all warehouse areas, ensuring a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, and meeting daily shipping requirements.
- Perform on-call support as required.
- Be flexible with role and assist teammates when needed, including driving a company van when required.
- Understand and perform the functions and procedures pertaining to the efficient operation of warehousing.
- Assist during physical inventories and/or field cycle counts ensuring the office inventory PI preparation is performed.
- Perform daily/period freight activity reviews on all FedEx and courier usage to ensure costing is correct and most economical.
- Learn software systems such as Move Medical and SAP used on a daily basis.
- Train and direct other personnel in their duties, both clerical and physical.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience in operations, distribution, logistics, inventory management, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Available for occasional on-call shifts.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and within a team, taking charge when needed.
