Mobile Facilities Technician
Join our team as a Mobile Facilities Technician where you will serve as the backbone of facility operations for a premier financial client. In this Monday through Friday, first-shift role, you will take ownership of maintaining mission-critical mechanical and electrical systems across multiple locations. You will ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient building performance that supports the daily operations of a high-profile corporate environment. As you travel between assigned sites, you will leverage your technical expertise to perform proactive performance testing, routine preventive maintenance, and expert corrective repairs. This position offers the autonomy to solve complex diagnostic challenges independently, allowing you to make a tangible difference in the comfort and safety of staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
- Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

Pay
The minimum salary for the Mobile Facilities Technician position is $31.25 per hour and the maximum salary is $36.05 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience.
