Position Overview
Client is seeking a Mobile Deployment Technician/Endpoint MDM Deployment Contractor to support the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) team. The contractor will play a critical role in the Evergreen Refresh initiative, ensuring secure, efficient, and seamless deployment of mobile devices to end users. This individual will also serve as the first line of support for issued mobile devices.
Responsibilities
- Configuring and setting up mobile devices in alignment with the Evergreen Refresh program.
- Coordinating deployments of mobile devices to end users, including scheduling, logistics, and user handoff.
- Receiving, processing, and tracking old devices for secure e-cycling and disposal according to IT policy.
- Providing first-level support for break/fix issues, troubleshooting, and inquiries related to issued mobile devices.
- Collaborating with the Unified Endpoint Management team to ensure successful device transitions with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintaining accurate deployment, inventory, and support documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with IT security standards and best practices during all deployment and support activities.
Required Skills/Experience
- 3 Years of Hands-on experience with mobile device deployment and configuration, including iOS platforms.
- 3 Years of Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, AirWatch, or similar).
- 3 Years of Experience/Ability to provide effective end-user support with strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
- 3 Years of Strong organizational skills for managing device scheduling, tracking, and handoffs.
- 3 Years of Experience/Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while providing excellent customer service.
- 3 Years of Strong attention to detail and commitment to IT security practices/Experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Prior experience with large-scale device deployment projects.
- Knowledge of government IT operations, policies, and security standards.
- Familiarity with device lifecycle Management and e-cycling processes.
Location: Charlotte, NC 28208 (Onsite) • Duration: 8 Months (Possible Extension)
