Mobile Behavioral Health Professional

Requirements

• A required Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or a related field.
• Knowledge of recovery principles and experience working within a recovery-oriented, person-centered service system.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with city agencies and partners, including the Office of Public Safety, Philadelphia Police Department (PPD), Philadelphia Fire Department, and internal/external stakeholders.
• PREFERRED: 1–3 years of case management experience in a human services setting; experience in drug and alcohol treatment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and case management, providing support, guidance, and warm handoffs to community members.
• Build trust with individuals, mentor them in goal-setting, self-advocacy, and life skills.
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers, including courts and diversion programs.
• Aid in accessing city resources such as housing, medical care, food, transportation, and employment.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism, model accountability, and use de-escalation and situational awareness strategies.

Qualifications

Earns $29.38/hour. This position is Sunday - Thursday 7:00a - 3:30p. Location: 265 Lehigh Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19125 Office & Community-Based (Philadelphia).
