Responsibilities
- Conducting mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention for individuals in correctional facilities.
- Serving as a member of a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and recovery by addressing behavioral health needs.
- Performing individual and group therapy sessions, documenting in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Participating in trainings and staff orientation activities.
- Assisting in program planning, implementing goals, and directing special projects as needed.
Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure in Kansas (LMSW, LCSW, LMLP, LCP, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT, or equivalent).
