Mobile Assessor PRN Night Weekends
Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is a provider of patient-focused, comprehensive mental health services. We offer mental health evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and older adults in crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all holidays. Our service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of mental health patients.
About the role
The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field
- Current state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current CPR certification, if required by a customer hospital
- Valid driver’s license
- Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group, or family therapy/counseling
- Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling
- Mobile assessment experience preferred

Schedule
PRN position, 6-12 hours on weekend nights.
Based on the results of an assessment, we determine the most appropriate level of care and recommend treatment facilities. Our tele-psychiatric assessment and consultation services connect people with the care providers best equipped to address their mental health issues. Rapid response ensures patients reach the most appropriate level of care faster, expediting their journey to wellness.
