About the role
Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time Nights to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals.
- Recommend appropriate level of treatment based on assessment of risk factors.
- Triage patients to appropriate services.
- Conduct crisis intervention.
- Perform mental health assessments.
- Provide counseling and referral.
- Prepare memorandum of transfer.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
- Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC” or “LPC‑A”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).
- Current CPR certification, if required by the contracting hospital.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Completion of appropriate internship, including provision of individual, group, or family therapy/counseling.
- Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling.
- Mobile assessment experience preferred.
