MMS Technology Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support multiple customers with their MDM environment, including administration console, application management, server maintenance and installation, and technical documentation.
• Manage and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues, as well as server-related issues.
• Participate in an On-Call Schedule.
• Work in a team atmosphere, collaborate with Helpdesk, Exchange, and Security teams within the customer's infrastructure.
• Respond quickly to critical issues and work until a resolution is reached.
• Perform activities such as application pushes, app inventory maintenance, and diagnostic research on a per-device level.
• Follow established incident and problem management programs and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Provide escalation support to the Service Desk following established help desk standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Workspace ONE environment, including device enrollment, certificate management, setup of policies & configurations, server updates, feature updates, and bug fixes.
• Expertise in using tools like logs and monitoring to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to develop and follow application testing plans.
• Strong writing skills for professional documentation and training material.
• Knowledge of setup and configuration of applications within a Workspace ONE environment.
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere.
• Experience with iOS platform, including DEP and VPP.
• Basic understanding of Exchange and Office 365.
• Experience with Apple Business Portal (ABM).
• Experience with change management procedures as set forth by ITIL standards.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity and network-related issues.
• Experience providing innovative technology solutions to customers.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, related technical training (or equivalent experience) plus at least two years of directly related experience.
• At least 3 years of Workspace ONE experience.
• At least 3 years of document writing experience.

Required Skills and Certifications

• At least 2 of any MDM Certifications.

• Proficient in MS Office tools.
