MLS2 Logistics C2 Trainer
Description
Delivering training programs and courses to Marines and their staffs
Providing instruction on Marine Corps Program of Record (POR) systems and operational tactics
Conducting hands-on training and assessments
Reviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with TECOM instructional methodology
Coordinating with the academics officer and curriculum review boards to keep training synchronized with MAGTF-level logistics C2 doctrine
Ensuring instruction aligns with current fleet requirements and integrates MLS2 and related logistics C2 tools
Reviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with TECOM instructional methodology
Serving as primary subject matter expert (SME) for all logistics C2 systems taught within the course
Conducting and evaluating practical exercises replicating real-world logistics C2 operations
Liaising with fleet units, program managers, and Marine Corps Logistics representatives to ensure course content reflects current fielded systems
Providing input to manpower planning, billet requirements, and system acquisition efforts as they relate to logistics C2 training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or formal DoD training
- Successful completion of a military or commercial basic instructor course such as Marine Corps Center for Learning and Faculty Development (CLFD) "Facilitating Learning Experience Course" (FLEX), CLFD Designing Learning Experience Course (DLEX), Basic Instructor Course (BIC), a college certification course, or an equivalent alternative course
- 10+ years of experience providing formal Period of Instructions (POIs) and supporting Logistics C2 training events
- 5+ years of experience providing POI on Logistics C2 software, hardware, systems, and applications
- Expert level knowledge utilizing and providing PoIs on MLS2 and other USMC Logistics
- In-depth understanding of MAGTF-level Logistics doctrine
- Experience analyzing the effectiveness of training programs and operational plans
- Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining POIs, lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises
- In-depth understanding of Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education (ISD/SAT-E) methodologies
- Understanding of Marine Corps Service Level Training Exercise Program (SLTE-P) standards and objectives
- Demonstrated experience with O365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+
Qualifications
- Current DoD Secret security clearance
- Active duty USMC experience with USMC Logistics C2 systems and equipment
- Possession of a current CompTIA Security+ certification
- Possession of a current Microsoft Office Specialist Master certification
Skills
- 5+ years of experience supporting MAGTF Operations Center Training Team (MOCTT) and/or MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTCs)

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $84,000.00/Yr. - USD $139,950.00/Yr.
