About The Role

Join KARL STORZ as a Logistics Center Trainer I and play a key role in developing talent, driving operational excellence, and supporting our continuous improvement (LEAN) culture. In this hands-on role, you will lead training efforts for Logistics Associates—ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and processes needed to succeed in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will partner closely with Logistics Center leadership to deliver impactful training programs, measure effectiveness, and continuously improve processes using data-driven insights. This position blends on-the-floor coaching with structured training development, making it ideal for someone passionate about teaching, process improvement, and team development.

Shift

Monday to Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging training programs, including new hire onboarding, cross-training, and refresher sessions through classroom and hands-on instruction
  • Coach and develop associates on the warehouse floor, spending the majority of time supporting real-time learning and performance
  • Measure training effectiveness using audits, Voice of the Customer (VOC) data, KPIs, and leadership feedback
  • Maintain and update training materials, work instructions, and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Identify gaps between current processes and procedures and drive improvements through training and standardization
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize operations

What You Bring

  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • 0–3 years of experience in training, logistics, manufacturing, or related environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and engage diverse teams
  • A high attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP transactions and systems
  • The ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization

Nice to Have

  • An associate degree or higher
  • Experience in Lean/continuous improvement environments
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities
