About the role

We are seeking a Banquet Bartender to join our team. This position offers a stable and supportive environment with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and paid parental leave.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on established recipes and procedures
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and ready to go—every shift, no surprises
• Follow Grand Casino’s cash handling and over/short policies with accuracy and care
• Take and fill drink orders efficiently and courteously
• Provide friendly, suggestive service using knowledge of menus and offerings
• Communicate with Banquet Captains, Servers, and team members to keep things running smoothly
• Handle guest questions and concerns with respect and quick solutions
• Support the team with side work, opening/closing duties, and other outlet coverage as needed (including room service and amphitheater venues)
• Maintain clean, sanitary workspaces that meet health regulations
• Stay in the know about safety, regulations, and responsibilities under the Dram Shop Act

Requirements

• One year of bartending and/or serving experience
• Completion of Alcohol Awareness Training within 2 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, safe serving practices, and customer care
• Calm, reliable presence and a love for great service
• Ability to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
• Compliance with all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s)

Qualifications

• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process
