Mitigation Technician - Sign On Bonus

About the role

Cavalry Construction & Restoration is a local company specializing in Mitigation and Restoration for both residential and commercial customers. We provide water, mold, and fire damage property mitigation and restoration services, focusing on professionalism, agility, and delivering a 5-star customer experience.

Sign-on bonus: $1,000.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform all mitigation services the company offers.
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Foreman to IICRC standards.
• Handle jobsite documentation as assigned (e.g., Dash, Notes, Pictures).
• Communicate effectively with customers during stressful property damage situations.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and decontamination.
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot onsite equipment issues.
• Execute the scope of work provided by the Mitigation Foreman.
• Maintain a daily checklist of equipment and supplies in vehicles.
• Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
• Maintain the integrity of containment and environmental controls.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Ensure jobsite safety, including wearing proper PPE.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and protect customers’ possessions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, construction, or industrial environment.
• Preferred: Restoration or mitigation experience (water, fire, or mold).
• Strong communication skills and professionalism with customers.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work after-hours or on-call shifts.
• Ability to lift, move, and operate mitigation equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean background suitable for entering customer homes and disaster-affected properties.

Work Environment

Regular exposure to water-damaged, mold-affected, or fire-damaged environments. Ability to work after hours, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
