Mitigation Technician- San Antonio

About the role

Cavalry Construction & Restoration is a local company specializing in mitigation and restoration for both residential and commercial customers. We provide water, mold, and fire damage property mitigation and restoration services with a goal of delivering a 5-star customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform all mitigation services the company offers
• Complete tasks as assigned by Foreman to IICRC standards
• Handle jobsite documentation as assigned (e.g., Dash, notes, pictures)
• Communicate effectively with customers during stressful property damage situations
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and decontamination
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance
• Troubleshoot onsite equipment issues
• Execute scope of work given by Mitigation Foreman
• Complete daily checklist of equipment and supplies in vehicles
• Attend departmental and company meetings as required
• Maintain the integrity of containment and environmental controls
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles
• Ensure jobsite safety, including wearing proper PPE
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and protect customer’s possessions

Work Environment

• Regular exposure to water-damaged, mold-affected, or fire-damaged environments
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
