Mitigation Technician

About the Role

We are seeking customer-focused, motivated, and responsible Mitigation Technicians to perform production processes for restoration projects, including fire and water damage cleanup. Technicians provide quality, consistent, and efficient work, representing the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls for both residential and commercial customers.
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities and set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per work order and crew chief directions.
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians, especially regarding customer needs and concerns.
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance after end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling.
• Complete documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Dedicated to world-class customer service.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekends.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable.
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects.

Pay

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour.
