Skills/Traits

• Clean driving record/ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to read a tape.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to fabricate from blueprints.
• Ability to Mig weld.
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot a Mig Welder.
• Ability to Tig weld.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use a smartphone for business purposes only.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to fabricate in both production and one-off settings.
• Ability to run standard shop tools (welder, bandsaw, brake press, welders, etc).
• Basic Computer Skills.
• CAD/Drafting experience (a bonus).
• Ability to stick weld (if you can pass a 4g certification).
• Customer Service experience.
• Welding Certifications.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working on a wide variety of metal fabrication projects.
• Focused on the accuracy and timeliness of project completion.
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Must be available to occasionally work in the field.
• Work ratio will be 80-90% in the shop and 10-20% in the field.
