Job Description and Duties:The Accounting Operations section is recruiting for a motivated self-starter seeking a challenging, exciting and friendly working environment with a variety of work assignments at the Accountant I (Specialist) level within the Accounts Receivable (AR) unit. The incumbent will work as a Miscellaneous Billing Specialist performing semi-professional accounting work including reviewing, adjusting, and processing miscellaneous billing items as well as maintaining and reconciling Lottery accounting records related to Accounts Receivable. The incumbent initiates all necessary research, reasons logically and solves accounting problems by understanding and interpreting the goals, mission, laws, rules, and policies of the State and the Department.
