Minnesota-Senior Attorney

Department: Legal | Location: Minnesota | Compensation: $200,000 – $400,000 per year

About the role

The Senior Attorney will manage and lead an active caseload of state and federal plaintiff‑side wage‑and‑hour, class, and representative action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies, while also providing guidance and oversight to associate attorneys. The ideal candidate is a licensed, highly experienced litigator with a strong track record in complex or class‑action litigation, who is organized, professional, and committed to achieving strong outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategy
• Conduct and respond to complex discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive and class‑certification motions
• Lead settlement negotiations
• Appear in court for hearings and trial
• Mentor junior attorneys on litigation best practices

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota (or licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to Minnesota)
• Minimum 8 + years of experience in civil litigation
• Experience with discovery, oral advocacy, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions
• Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage‑and‑hour litigation is a plus
• Ability to travel on occasion
