Minister to Students

First Baptist Church of Gadsden is looking for a full-time Minister to Students to lead our First Students ministry for grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will have a passion for student ministry and energy to devote to helping our student ministry continue to grow and thrive. We are looking for someone who will connect well with teenagers and meet them where they are in their lives. The position will focus on cultivating fellowship, leading a Wednesday night worship service, teaching the Scriptures, overseeing youth Sunday school, discipling students, and leading well-organized trips and retreats. First Baptist is well-equipped to help the right candidate meet these goals. We have a youth parent team, a robust student budget, involved parents, a supportive congregation, and a united staff. Ideal candidates will have completed, or be pursuing, theological education. First Baptist is a Christ-centered, Gospel-focused church in the heart of downtown Gadsden with thriving ministries and intergenerational fellowship. We are enjoying a season of health and growth and are excited to welcome a new Minister to Students to help us continue in this trajectory.
