Job Summary
The Minibar Attendant is responsible for replenishing and maintaining guest room minibars. The position requires providing friendly, courteous, prompt, and efficient service to all guests, while creating a memorable Minibar experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Consistently check, restock, and maintain proper par levels and presentation of all minibar items in guest rooms, paying close attention to damaged and/or expired items.
- Adhere to FIFO (first in first out) rotation of minibar items.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of minibar equipment (sensor refrigerator and sensor tray) and assigned service cart. Report any malfunctions and/or damages to IRD Manager.
- Adhere to SmartCube procedures and report any malfunctions of device or system to IRD Manager.
- Inform management of any situations where a guest may express concern or dissatisfaction.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-3 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.
- Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is a plus.
- FORBES standards is a plus.
- High volume, fast-paced experience preferred.
- Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.
- Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Food Handlers card is preferred.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is preferred.
- Proficient in English- verbal and written.
- Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
