Responsibilities

• Oversee yard, warehouse, trucking, maintenance, and safety program functions.
• Manage order fulfillment, “will call,” and on-time delivery, including product selection, loading, and transportation.
• Resolve shipment, delivery, and order backlog issues.
• Manage transportation compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and legal load requirements.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receipt of products from internal and external suppliers, purchase order reconciliation, inventory control, storage design, and product pulling/loading for shipment.
• Train, guide, and coach materials-handling personnel.
• Ensure a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment for warehouse, equipment, vehicles, yard, and grounds.
• Manage loss control activities, including fire, theft, and fleet safety.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College degree or equivalent work experience in a related job function.

Preferred Qualifications: More than five years of experience in a related job function. Professional certification may be required.
